The committee has the following responsibilities:
- Commits department resources
- Approves major funding and resource allocation strategies, and significant changes to funding/resource allocation
- Resolves conflicts and issues
- Provides direction to the Project Manager
- Reviews project deliverables
- Manages the project budget
- Recommends changes to State statutes to the Legislature
